The bioinformatics market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 23% to $ 5.0B by 2012.The Indian Bioinformatics industry comprises of players in areas such as contract research and development (R and D) services, clinical and proof of concept clinical investigation, clinical trials, contract research, bio-engineering, stem cell research, contract manufacturing, bioinformatics and drug development.
